Citadel Index
The Advanced Dungeons and Dragons range was released during 1985 and 1986 before, in 1987, Citadel decided to end the license. Ral Partha then designed and produced the AD&D line.
The best guess is that there were 8 variants of most of the common "man size" monsters and 3 of the larger ones, but there are 4 owlbears... The monsters in this range were extensively customized with many head and weapon variants.
There are three unreleased sets in the range: the Samurai, who later appeared as an Oriental Hero; the Thief in padded Armour; and the Hook Horror.
For an utterly comphrensive look at the AD&D range, I recommend Richard Scott's AD&D site
